Welcome to ATHENS!
Day 1. Arrival in Crete, Greece
Arrival at Athens international airport and flight to Heraklion, Crete. Arrival in Crete and transfer to your hotel where you can enjoy a welcome dinner.
Day 2. Exclusive Culinary Lesson on Mediterranean Cuisine
During an interactive cooking experience, we will gather all the raw ingredients needed for the cooking class while discussing the importance of seasonal farming. You will next learn the secrets of the world’s healthiest diet and be introduced to real traditional Cretan recipes. Overnight in Heraklion at Boutique Luxury hotel.
Day 3. Explore Knossos Ancient Palace, winery for Lunch and Heraklion city
After breakfast, we will have a chance to step back in time as we visit the 3,500-year-old Minoan palace of Knossos which is thought to be Europe’s oldest city. Later in the day, we will visit a winery for lunch and then we will head to explore the Heraklion Archaeological Museum, home of the world’s best collection of Minoan art and the historic centre, where we will also taste the famous Bougatsa pastry. Return to the hotel for the rest of the evening and overnight at a Boutique Luxury hotel.
Day 4. Visit Milli Gorge & Town of Rethymnon
Get ready for a beautiful hike in Crete! After breakfast, we will head to Milli Gorge – a stunning green oasis which hosts a huge number of plants and trees that feel like a botanic garden. We will have lunch at the gorge and then we will head to the town of Rethymnon, where we will also see the preparation for Baklava. Return to the hotel, overnight at Boutique Luxury hotel.
Optional: Sunset Cruise with drinks and fruits on board!
Day 5. Transfer to Santorini and Winery tour
Transfer to Santorini, one of the most iconic islands in the Mediterranean. Upon arrival free time for lunch at Pyrgos village and transfer to Santos Winery for a wine-tasting tour. After learning about the volcanic wine production, enjoy a tasting as you soak up a panoramic view of Santorini. Overnight in Santorini at a 5* Luxury hotel.
Day 6. Beautiful Day Catamaran Caldera Cruise
The ultimate way to explore the diverse and colorful shores of Santorini is by doing so from the deck of a catamaran. You will have plenty of things to discuss while soaking in the therapeutic waters at Palea Kameni. The cruises stop at various locations throughout the time where you can take a dip in the crystal-clear sea and enjoy the breathtaking surroundings.
Day 7. Design your day in Santorini
Option A: Hike with an expert guide from Imerovigli to Oia
Option B: KAYAK tour that includes paddling along the spectacular beaches, swimming and snorkeling in see-through waters and unique volcanic coastline. Overnight in Santorini at a 5* Luxury hotel.
Day 8. Athens
Flight to Athens, and after landing visit to Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon. Enjoy lunch by the seafront then settle to enjoy some time at leisure. In the evening we will visit the mount of Lycabettus for breathtaking views of Athens. Overnight in 5* Boutique hotel.
Day 9. Athens
In the morning visit to the Acropolis Museum, marveling at artifacts Athenians used in everyday life, later you will explore the Acropolis, one of the greatest icons of the ancient world. Enjoy lunch at leisure in the famous Plaka neighbourhood. Later in the evening, join the group for your farewell dinner at a local restaurant to toast the end of your trip. Overnight in 5* Boutique hotel.
Day 10. Athens
After breakfast, transfer to Athens Airport and board your onward flight.
